I got really excited about this shot. It was so windy outside, I had to wait a few times for it to come back around into focus.
Looks pretty good. It's a bit noisy and unclear mostly due to the high ISO sensitivity. It's at 400, try to keep it 200 or less. You were able to take a quick shot (1/320 second), so you could have cut the ISO down to 200 and taken roughly a 1/200 second shot. You would have to hold more still and be more careful, but the image would have been a little more clear.
Not knocking your image, it's a nice one. Just trying to help out with the little bit of technical photography knowledge I know.
I'll keep that in mind the next time I have .0000000005 seconds to take a picture in 10mph winds that won't die down. 'Oh wait, is my ISO set right? Hmm, lemme check.'
You mean well.

..... I've had it for more than a year. I think I'm used to it, dear. You really just don't understand how windy it was. I didn't have the time to check or adjust, I quite literally would focus and then pray the wind wouldn't move it in the .0000000005 seconds I had to take the photo. Not. Even. Kidding.

I only have what I have. Unlike pretty much everybody else in the entire WORLD (not even kidding!), I don't have Adobe Photoshop of any kind because I can't afford it. The editing program I have has a 'despeckle' option, and it does a fairly decent job, but that's all I got. Maybe someday...but I work with what I have.
Besides, I figure if you want grain in the darkroom, it can't hurt to have it in the digital color darkroom too.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The clarity of the entire image is different than the actual focus.
